So, taking from this, the poem takes an introspective look into the ideas surrounding control and how we view and value others on a physical and spiritual level.
There is a call to let go of control, meaning our selfish hold of thinking we know everything and what we think is right, and realizing that this world is wide enough for all of us to be and become. That we don’t know everything, and that’s okay. But we shouldn’t hinder from someone else the grace we all so desperately need by putting ourselves up on pedestals or thinking we’re smarter or better than each other, or even God, who is Wisdom and Good.

To let go of control will we soon?
Flying towards the sun our wings. Embers burn.
Bright sky orange we can be grounded.
A gift of a realization that a way has been made where the weight won’t stay.
Can you reveal what’s left unsaid?
Is forgiveness still an option of this fractured empathetic pit of a shattered mindset? Apathy.
I’ve made this bed but I don’t have to lie in it.
So I let go of control to infinity fly up to your face and drench my skin in the light of your shadow. A smile.
But me an individual translating and transcribing my story and writing to a people I think will hear? No. Instead we are connotated to the position of musician.
Ruthless; everyone must have an opinion bathed in narrow-mindedness complaining that desire isn’t approached or acknowledged. A well of arrogance. A need to re-learn “healthy”.
Hurry; an endless rapacity of sound and movement as the crowd that moves moves me to move to the next song than appreciate in eclipse of an idiosyncratic feeling otherwise universal.
Vulnerable; lack of patience. Diligence. Humility. Empathy. A losing cause to the process that God is working in. In a world wide enough for you and me what’s one more that will harm?
